Hi, I’m Julian van Heeswijck, the eye behind That Dapper Photographer.

I’m a London-based portrait and fashion photographer with over 15 years of experience behind the lens. My journey started in my teens with a simple point-and-shoot, photographing cars, landscapes, and just about anything I could. Over time, I discovered my true calling—people and, most of all, fashion.

Fashion photography is where my creativity comes alive. I regularly cover international fashion weeks, capturing the energy of the streets, the artistry of designers, and the individuality of models and style icons. For me, fashion isn’t just clothing—it’s a language of expression, and my goal is to translate that into bold, timeless images.
